Original Oil Paintings
This site contains photos of oil paintings that I have done from 1983 to the present. The paintings are for the most part classical still life and landscape in nature and reflect my longing for a simpler world with simple pleasures. I am a great fan of the Hudson River School of artists and the Dutch Still Life painters of the 16th and 17th centuries and consequently, many of my works are painted in those styles. I also paint what I call "Situational figurative" compositions which portray a human situation such as the paintings, "Getting Ready" or "Can I Play."
